Women In Energy Conference

This London conference is an incredible opportunity to both network and try to advance your career. The annual event, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers, welcomes representatives from various energy and oil organizations.

Through workshops and guest speakers' panels, the event will also enable you to gain new, practical experience, and more knowledge of the industries being discussed.

Engineering For Life – From Cradle To Grave

Do you believe more STEM-related conferences targeting younger audiences need to be created? If so, this event will fit all of your requirements.

From 3D printers to ultrasound machines, you will be able to see what engineers have created over the years. The program is interactive, aiming to appeal to a younger audience with interests in science.

National Science Week 2015

Friday 13 – Sunday 22 March 2015

This is a ten-day-long celebration of science and engineering aimed at people of all ages. Each year the week has a different theme, with 2015 still to be announced.

As an eclectic group of events spread all over the UK, it will allow a variety of people to take part in the celebrations – from schools to whole communities, university and colleges.

You can also vote for your favourite event, with the best ones receiving awards.

National Engineering & Construction Recruitment Exhibition

Friday 24 April – Saturday 25 April 2015

This two-day event, which is free to attend, presents hundreds of exciting job vacancies. The National Engineering & Construction Recruitment Exhibition is a great opportunity for undergrads and above to network, get advice on their CVs and attend seminars.

The first day of the exhibition includes a forum for women in engineering, which will enable a discussion about the various career paths in the engineering industry.

An extremely useful component for students is the “interview clinic”, where you will get the chance to identify your strengths and weaknesses, to be better prepared for job interviews.

STEMtech Conference And Showcase

Wednesday 29 April 2015

The annual STEMtech conference looks into the future of STEM education, and how it can be improved. Combining industry experience and knowledge, as well as university and college teaching, the event will present opportunities within the engineering industry, and within education.

It is a good chance for university students to network and to see the newest innovations in the engineering industry.
